Course with LeSS certification

Certified LeSS for Executives

Principles, organization and change

Two to three days for senior leaders responsible for an organizational change.

What it covers

This course looks at Large-Scale Scrum from the perspective of the people who decide on structure, budgets and decision rights. That is a different perspective from the practitioner course, because the decisive questions sit elsewhere.

It deals with organizational design around customer value, the role of leadership in an organization built on feature teams, and the separation of professional and line leadership. It also covers the career paths that have to be rethought along with it, and the question of what an adoption actually asks of leadership.

Why the format makes sense

Most adoptions do not fail because teams do not understand them. They fail because decision rights are moved formally but not actually handed over. That question can only be settled where the decisions are made.

Who it is for

Executives, division and development leads, managers responsible for organization and change.
